1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using Yummywayanad.com (the "Site"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

2. Product Information & Safety

  • Handcrafted Nature: Our pickles and food products are artisanal. Slight variations in color, texture, and crunch are normal and expected.

  • Allergen Warning: All ingredients are listed on the product pages. Our facility may process nuts, soy, dairy, or gluten. It is the customer's responsibility to review ingredients for personal safety.

  • Shelf Life: Customers must follow storage instructions (e.g., "Keep Refrigerated") provided on the packaging to ensure food safety.

3. Orders and Payments

  • Pricing: All prices are in INR and exclude taxes and shipping unless stated otherwise.

  • Payment: We accept UPI. Orders are only processed once payment is cleared.

  • Cancellations: Because we prioritize freshness, orders can only be cancelled within 2 hours of placement.

Shipping & Delivery Policy

1. Shipping Timelines

  • Processing: Orders are typically processed within 2–4 business days.

  • Freshness Buffer: To prevent your pickles from sitting in a hot warehouse over the weekend, we may delay shipping until Monday if an order is placed late in the week.

2. Shipping Rates & Methods

  • Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on weight and destination.

  • We currently ship to all Kerala. We cannot ship to P.O. Boxes for perishable items.

3. Perishable Handling

  • While our pickles are jarred/sealed, they are sensitive to extreme heat. We recommend being present for delivery to ensure the package is brought indoors immediately.

  • Yummywayanad is not responsible for products spoiled due to being left outdoors for extended periods after delivery.

Returns and Refunds

1. Food Safety Policy

Due to the perishable nature of our products and food safety regulations, we do not accept returns. Once a food item leaves our facility, we cannot resell it.

2. Damaged or Incorrect Items

If your jar arrives broken or you received the wrong item:

  • Contact us at [email protected] within 48 hours of delivery.

  • Include your order number and a photo of the damage/incorrect product.

  • We will issue a replacement or a full refund at our discretion.

4. Limitation of Liability

Yummywayanad is not liable for any health issues, allergic reactions, or injuries resulting from the consumption of our products if the customer fails to read the ingredient labels or follow storage instructions.

5. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India.
